We just released one of Julio’s wines in our May club, and we’ve been pouring another by the glass at Compline Restaurant. These Longaví cru wines are the real deal!
Now meet the man responsible, and learn all about the fringes of Chilean viticulture and winemaking in the secano interior of Maule Valley.
This will be an exciting detour south, with one of Chile’s most visionary winemakers, Julio Bouchon. We’re pouring three wines: 2020 Soberano, 2022 Cemeneterio, and 2019 Reforma. These are Carignan, Chenin Blanc, and Grenache, from old, dry-farmed vines.
After the tasting, head over to Compline Restaurant to try a selection of Chilean cuisine small bites with Julio’s “Glup” range of wines. We’re pairing three classic Chilean dishes with three wines—it’s included in the ticket price!
