About The Cabaletta Quartet

The Cabaletta Quartet was formed in 2023 by Juilliard undergraduate students Chili Ekman (violin), Henry Rogers (violin), Pearl de la Motte (viola), and Vanny Hu (cello).

Two of the members grew up in California; Chili is a Berkeley native, and Pearl spent time in both San Diego and San Francisco. Vanny is from Stratford, Canada, and Henry is from Princeton, New Jersey. Prior to their formation as a quartet, they individually spent recent summers at the Aspen Music Festival, Music@Menlo, Sarasota Music Festival, Heifetz Institute and Toronto Summer Chamber Festival.

During their first year together, they have been coached and mentored by many esteemed musicians including David Finckel, Daniel Phillips, Paul Neubauer, Robert Levin, Joseph Lin, and Brian Zeger.

Tilden Daken lived a life made for headlines and brought California to the world through his art. Chef Diego Isunza Kahlo Returns to Compline

Guest Chef Diego Isunza Kahlo, great-great nephew of artist Frida Kahlo and one of Mexico’s most creative culinary talents, returns to Compline! He and Compline Executive Chef Edwin Robles are collaborating on an 8-course, modern degustation menu rooted in the cuisines of Mexico City and Puerto Rico, their respective places of origin. Edwin grew up in Puerto Rico before cooking alongside legends like José Andres, Michael Voltaggio, Wolfgang Puck, and Michael Chiarello. Together, Diego and Edwin are a dream team in the kitchen.
