Felton Road is one of Central Otago’s top wineries. Besides making some of the South Island’s best Pinot and Chardonnay, Felton Road is doing it right, managing their vineyards organically and biodynamically. Native New Zealander Blair Walter has been crafting the wines since the beginning—the 1997 vintage!—and his three decades of winemaking in Bannockburn make Blair one of the authorities on the region of Central Otago, the world’s southernmost location for fine wine.
