1142 First Street will become the home of a novel Buena Vista Winery tasting room and Earth & Sky Chocolates experience. The storefront will feature majestic chocolate displays from Earth & Sky Chocolates, as well as a tasting area and wine bar. Cabernet sauvignon tastings will be offered alongside a decadent assortment of chocolates, as well as a unique caviar pairing experience.
The collaboration will inhabit the Gordon’s 1,190 square foot retail space, as well as the 605 square foot mezzanine. Both Buena Vista Winery and the Gordon Building are powerful representations of this wine region’s history, as well as northern California’s overall historical landscape. In describing Buena Vista’s long-standing connection to the Napa Valley, Boisset notes that “When Buena Vista was founded in 1857, it spanned from Sonoma to Napa, and we have always dreamed to re-establish the winery with a
permanent destination in the Napa Valley, in addition to our St. Helena Vineyard… The historic Gordon Building is the ideal Napa destination to unveil our a new vision of Chateau Buena Vista, which pairs the dream of Cabernet Sauvignon, Caviar, and Chocolate, in collaboration with our friends at Earth & Sky Chocolates… The Count has returned to Napa Valley!”
The Buena Vista Winery tasting room and Earth & Sky Chocolate experience is slated to open to the public in November 2021.
